Eastern Norway and eastern Agder will see temperatures up to 30 degrees on Thursday and Friday as well, while the heat is over for Western Norway this time.

On Wednesday afternoon it was also measured new heat record in Denmark – 35.7 degrees, NTB reports.

– We have the sun hat, it’s the most important thing there is! says Toralf Auestad (15).

At Fredriksten Camping in Halden, there are several people who are looking forward to Allsang on the border on Wednesday evening.

Before the evening, the plan is to go swimming to cool off.

Seeking shade

Janicke Falkhyten (35) is here with her daughters Emma Sofie (10) and Ine (8) playing under a parasol. The family from Elverum came to the campsite on Tuesday for Allsang on the border on Wednesday evening. The girls are extra excited to see TIX.

– It’s a bit tiring that it’s so hot since we’re going to a concert tonight, especially blazing until TIX makes it hot, says Emma Sofie.

– We are here to go to a concert, says mum Janicke.

The night before, they met at the idol TIX, who was extra gorgeous.

THRIVES WITH ANIMALS: Thor Grønnerød (53) runs a dog kennel in Halden.

Thor Grønnerød (53) runs Kamperhaug Gård together with his family.

In 2014, they opened a dog kennel in addition to having stables with horses and their own livestock.

– It will be a quiet day at work when it is as hot as today. Fortunately, it is cool where the dogs live.

Grønnerød says they have made several preparations for the animals on such a hot day as this.

– We are very concerned that the animals get enough fluids and stay in the shade. When we don’t go for walks, the dogs stay inside a lot.

READY FOR A HOT EVENING: Ann Kristin Granås (62) and Kjersti Arhum (66) are looking forward to the evening.

«Rag grandmothers»

Down at the Amcar car club, Ann Kristin Granås (62) and Kjersti Arhum (66) are getting ready for a hectic evening. They will stand in a stall in the center and sell sausages, soft drinks and ice cream to hungry drivers.

– We have practiced this here before. In 2018, we stood and sold in our stall when the thermometer showed over 30 degrees, says Arhum.
