The police arrested a third suspect on Thursday for possible involvement in a stabbing in Nijmegen. A 38-year-old man was killed in the incident on Sunday evening.
The arrested suspect is a 32-year-old Rotterdam resident. Police had distributed a photo of the man in an effort to find him.
After the stabbing on Couwenbergstraat in Nijmegen, the police were looking for three suspects. On Wednesday, two of them reported to the police station. It concerns a 21-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man from Nijmegen.
The police received several reports on Sunday evening about a fight in which someone had been stabbed. The victim later succumbed to his injuries.
That same evening, the police arrested two men who were involved in the brawl. They walked across the street with the victim before the fight. The two have now been released.
After the television program Investigation Requested had paid attention to the case on Tuesday evening, the police received about twenty tips and videos. These are being investigated.
