According to the social authorities, a total of 99,068 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 91,900 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days rose from 115.1 on Sunday to 123.8 on Monday. A week ago the incidence value was 106.6.

According to information on Friday, 128 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals, 39 of which are being treated in intensive care units. According to the RKI, a total of 1,822 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. Another death was registered within one day.
