310 new deaths linked to Covid-19 in hospital are to be deplored in France since Tuesday, and the number of people hospitalized continues to increase.
Day after day, the figures for the Covid-19 in France are not improving. 310 people have died in hospital in 24 hours and 26,784 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in the country in the past 24 hours, reports Santé Publique France in its latest report published this Wednesday. The day before, 23,608 cases had been identified in 24 hours.
Hospital admissions and daily intensive care admissions continue to rise, which began at the beginning of January: 1,907 new hospitalizations were recorded on Wednesday, including 292 intensive care admissions.
In total, 25,686 people are hospitalized on Wednesday due to Covid-19, including 2,852 in intensive care.
In addition, some 107,000 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in 24 hours in France, bringing the total number of vaccinated to 692,777 people since the start of the vaccination campaign. This represents a little more than 1% of the French population.
