Floods: 31 years later, Nîmes continues its protection work

In Nîmes, following the murderous floods of Monday, October 3, 1988 (9 deaths), the risk reduction fight is still continuing. In 33 years, 245 million euros have been injected into the protection of the city with the construction of 22 water retention basins and the widening of cadereaux (pipes which cross the city mainly underground).
