A 31-year-old hounded his Rottweiler on his 29-year-old friend last night after an argument apparently escalated. The dog owner then took a knife and tried to stab his opponent. But he was able to repel the knife attack with his arms.

A 34-year-old, who was also in the apartment, came to the aid of the 29-year-old, who was subsequently able to flee from the apartment in the Salzburg district of Herrnau. Outside he called the police, who were able to arrest the suspect shortly afterwards
No bite injuries from Rottweilers
The injured person suffered minor cuts in his arms. The attacked person did not suffer from a bite wound from the dog. He was taken care of by the Red Cross. No hospital treatment was required. The accused was reported and taken to the police detention center. The police report that it is still unknown why the attack occurred.
