An initially unknown group of drivers drove a car from Glarus north at around 4 a.m. on Sunday morning. This is what the cantonal police in Glarus wrote in a statement. At the Bahnhofstrasse/Burgstrasse junction, she lost control of the vehicle, crossed a traffic island and the left-hand sidewalk and crashed into a concrete wall. The car was then parked on the street and the handlebars were removed from the scene of the accident. It is also said that the 31-year-old driver was found at Glarus train station during the police search.
In addition to the statement that the man’s driver’s license had already been revoked, he had to undergo a blood and urine test. Property damage was caused to the vehicle and the concrete wall. (red)
