31 states already add to the quarantine list for travelers due to COVID-19 – Telemundo Chicago

The states of Ohio, Delaware, West Virginia, Texas and Colorado were added to the quarantine list for travelers arriving in Chicago, as they register an increase in coronavirus infections, the city announced on Tuesday.

Travelers entering or returning to Chicago from “states experiencing an increase in new COVID-19 cases” will be required to quarantine “for a period of 14 days from the time of last contact within the identified state” according to the order issued. by the Chicago Department of Public Health.

Essential workers may be exempt from the quarantine requirement, provided their employer certifies their work in writing.
