Subsequently, the families that will receive the electric stove package will be those registered in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS). The package consists of an electric stove, a kitchen utensil and one Automatic switch (MCB) or a special power booster for electric stoves.
“The plan this year is 300,000 (recipients). So a house is given a package, its own stove, its own kitchen utensils, the power is increased,” said the secretary general of the Ministry of Energy and mineral resources Rida Mulyana when he was met after a meeting with Banggar DPR, Tuesday (20/9).

Rida explained that the price of this package of electric stoves is around 1.8 million rupees, so if the target is 300,000 families, the budget needed this year is around 540 billion rupees.
However, Rida said there may still be some changes. Why, there is an input so that the data on the electric stove being distributed is increased.
He said that currently the power that will be distributed is 800 watts for the two ovens. However, there is an input from the DPR so that the power is increased to 1,000 watts.
“The initial plan was for both of the two stoves, originally 800 watts, now we want to increase one by 1,000 MW. So, so that cooking is faster (faster),” Rida said.
If a power change is made, Rida said there will be an additional budget for an electric heater package. For example, currently with 800 watts of power it is 1.8 million Rp., So with 1000 watts of power it can reach 2 million Rp.
“It’s still a test, there is a proposal to change a kiln to a larger size. Now, the price is still being calculated, it shouldn’t be Rp 1.8 million, it needs to be higher, around 2 million. of Rp., “he said.
