The working group violence against women and children in Mainz celebrates its 30th anniversary today. Under the direction of Mayor Michael Ebling, floor stickers with quotations from the women’s office, the women’s emergency number of the state capital Mainz and other institutions were therefore attached at Heinefetter-Platz in Mainz. Martina Trojanowski employee of the AK on the floor adhesive:
“On the floor stickers themselves there are quotes from an institution that is represented in the AK violence. There are many different representatives of women’s initiatives, specialist advice centers that usually deal with other topics such as health and victim protection.”
The floor stickers are stuck on at the advice center and many other places in Mainz. In addition, for the next 14 days, all municipal mail will be stamped with a specially made stamp to draw attention to violence against women and children.
