30 students from Belluno in London for sustainability

The Galilei Tiziano high schools in Belluno have recently obtained significant funding to participate in the Move project in the summer of 2025. This program will involve 30 third year students for a period of 15 days, and will focus on sustainable good practices in partner schools and on implementation of the English language, in line with Goal 13 of the 2030 Agenda.

The children will have an experience in and around London, where they will be able to learn and apply sustainable practices, becoming aware of the importance of such initiatives in their local communities. «Linguistic competence is fundamental not only for academic learning, but also for becoming active and aware citizens in the global context in which we live – underlines the contact person for internationalisation, Professor Luigina Ricchio -. Initiatives like Move represent a valuable opportunity for our students to develop language and communication skills, allowing them to interact with different cultures and actively participate in sustainability projects. It is essential that young people understand the importance of these international experiences, as they contribute to forming a new generation of responsible citizens committed to the challenges of our time.”
