Work on this 98km long axis was launched last weekend by the Minister of Public Works, General Flavien Nziengui Nzoundou.
This is good news for the residents of the Ogooué Lolo area who will now see this road possible. In fact, the work began with the earthwork phase that prepares the axis of the road to receive the foundation, base and wearing layers.
The work is being carried out by the China First Highway Engineering Company, which received encouragement from the minister for their clear desire to respect the timetable set by mutual agreement with the Committee for Transition and Re- Institutional renewal (CTRI).
The Minister of Public Works asked the winning company to speed up the work. It took them 30 months for this purpose so that this road could be restored.
