Sharif added, “These are glorified acts of charity that enable humanity to triumph over seemingly insurmountable odds.” .
Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority said another shipment consisting of about 5 tons of relief materials, including blankets and winter tents, was sent via a Pakistan International Airlines flight. Islamabad has set up an air, sea and land corridor to send relief materials to earthquake victims in Turkey. and Syria.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has already set up a relief fund to collect funds and relief materials for earthquake victims in the two countries besides forming a ministerial committee to coordinate and supervise relief efforts across Pakistan.
