30 families will access credits for housing


The Municipality notified 30 families from Ushuaia that they completed the necessary steps to manage a loan and access their home, within the framework of the Argentine Bicentennial Credit Program (Procrear).

USHUAIA.- In an act that took place in the Secretary of Habitat and Land Management of the Municipality, headed by the head of the area, David Ferreyra; 30 families were notified of access to credit for their home, within the framework of the Argentine Bicentennial Credit Program (Procrear).

Ferreyra was accompanied by the Undersecretary of Housing, Yanira Martínez; the undersecretary of Territorial Development, Irupé Petrina; and the Undersecretary of Operational Management of the Habitat, Esteban Vercen.

Yanira Martínez said that “we inform the neighbors that they are able to access a loan and be beneficiaries of a Procrear home” and indicated that “these are families that had registered at the beginning of the year in the instance that we organize on Court 4”.

The Undersecretary pointed out that “we inform them of all the administrative and financial steps that they have to take from now on to move forward”, and asserted that “we will continue to accompany them so that they can carry out the procedures as soon as possible and access their home” .

Martínez expressed that “we are working on four urban developments in the area of ​​the Barrancas del Río Pipo within the framework of a special line of Procrear, which will go to union organizations. We have the 120 homes tendered in stage 2 of the General San Martín Urbanization, to make them available to the housing demand as soon as they are finished being built”.

Undersecretary Petrina expressed that “we have been accompanying the neighbors in the framework of this housing crisis that exists in the city as a result of years of absence of a land and housing policy. With actions such as the generation of urban land and housing, or the regularization of neighborhoods”.
