NESODDEN (VG) One person is slightly injured and three young men have been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a violent incident in Nesodden. The police believe that a firearm was used.

– We have control over victims who are slightly injured. We have also succeeded in getting control of three people implicated who we assume are the perpetrators.
Acting lawyer Laila Hegard tells VG on Friday morning that three men are currently charged with attempted murder.
She says the three have not yet been appointed a lawyer, and that the charge can be changed. Hegard says that some questioning has been done, but that more questioning will be done throughout the day.
The police write that the investigation indicates that a firearm has been used against the victim, a man who lives at the address.
– He has been hit by a projectile and appears to be slightly injured. Three men have been arrested.
Operations manager Gisle Sveen tells VG that the police were alerted by residents in the area.
– We first received reports of fights and broken windows, and up to five young boys outside an address. On the way there, we also received a report of banging from a caller.

He says the victim met the police when they arrived and together with witnesses gave good descriptions of the suspects.
The police blocked off roads and carried out checks, and also received assistance from the air with a police helicopter.
– A car was attempted to be stopped and did not comply. One person was stopped by the car, while two others went out into the terrain. We eventually got control of these. These match the descriptions we have received, and we therefore believe we have the right people, says Sveen.
However, he does not rule out that more people may be involved.
The three arrested are all young men, Sveen does not want to say more about specific ages. The victim is also a young man. The person was followed up by health on the spot.
The police have not identified any connection between the parties, but believe the attack was targeted.
– We therefore consider that there is no danger to anyone else in the area.
He says the three are currently charged with bodily harm, but that can be extended.
The operations manager does not wish to say for the time being whether any weapons have been seized.
The incident leader at the scene told VG’s freelancer earlier last night that the police received a report of “the sound of gunshots”.
He said that the injuries to the victim could be compatible with gunshot wounds.
The incident leader also did not want to say anything about whether there is a check on any weapons, and says it is too early to say anything about the motive. The police would like to contact any witnesses.
– We are early in the investigation and will possibly be able to provide more information tomorrow morning at the earliest.
VG’s reporter at the scene says the police are searching with dogs and technical investigators overnight until Friday.
