KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning / National Land Agency (ATR / BPN) Sofyan Djalil said there would be 3 ministers who would be responsible for and manage the land bank.

According to Sofyan, the other 2 ministers could be the Minister of Finance because this land bank is related to state assets, it could also be the Minister of Agriculture if agricultural interests are considered more important, or even the Minister of PUPR.

He also said that this land would have a Supervisory Board. This is because the land bank is expected to be a strong organization and therefore needs to be properly monitored.
Later, this supervisory board will consist of 7 people, of which 3 are representatives of the government and some are from professionals. To be sure, he ensured that this supervisory board election would be openly elected.
Meanwhile, according to the Job Creation Law, it is stated that the land bank agency is a special agency that manages land. This land bank agency functions to carry out planning, acquisition, procurement, management, utilization and distribution of land.
The land bank agency also guarantees the availability of land in the framework of a just economy for the public interest, social interest, national development interest, economic equality, land consolidation, and agrarian reform. It is also stated that the availability of land for agrarian reform is at least 30% of the state land allocated for land banks.
In the Copyright Act, it is also mentioned that the land bank body as it consists of the Committee, the Board of Supervisors and the Executive Board.
