3 streets in North Jakarta flooded this morning, the height reaches 55cm

Heavy rain washed several areas of DKI Jakarta this morning. The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has registered a number of affected road points floods in North Jakarta.

“BPBD has noted that three roads are currently flooded,” Jakarta BPBD Disaster Information and Data Processing Chief Michael Sitanggang said in a written statement on Sunday (1/1/2023).

Michael explained that the data was taken today at 09:55 WIB. The flood point is currently still in the suction stage.

“DKI Jakarta BPBD has deployed personnel to monitor flood conditions in each area and coordinate elements of SDA service, Bina Marga service, Gulkarmat service to vacuum puddles and ensure water lines are functioning properly together with local lurah and sub district chiefs The flood is targeted to recede in no time,” he said.

The following is the distribution of flood points and puddles in DKI Jakarta:

1. Jalan Muara Baru, Penjaringan Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta
– Height: 20cm

2. Motor Jalan Gaya 1, Sungai Bambu Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta
– Height: 35cm

3. Jalan Gaya Motor 2, Sungai Bambu Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta
– Height: 55cm
