A new gourmet address is about to open its doors in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon. And not least! it’s about the Pecoranegra pizzeriaalready established in Menton and Strasbourg and run by three-star chef Mauro Colagreco.
It will welcome its first customers on January 23, 2024rue Bossuet.
A “simple and authentic” address
Italian-Argentinian chef, Mauro Colagreco runs more than 25 establishments around the world including le Mirazurits “flagship” located in Menton and crowned “best restaurant in the world” in 2019 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, one of the competitors of the Michelin Guide.
At the opposite end of the scale from this gourmet restaurant, the chef decided to open the same year of this great award, La Pecoranegra: a simple and authentic pizzeria, where it is possible to eat a Neapolitan pizza “in complete relaxation”. And the concept finally arrives in Lyon.
“Mauro Colagreco will unveil in a few days his brand new eclectic, local and committed pizzeria in the heart of the city of lights (…) Like his big sisters from Menton and Strasbourg who paved the way for him, La Pecoranegra Lyonnaise will put its terroir in the spotlight thanks to local, organic and seasonal sourcing,” presents the chef’s group.

Within this new establishment, it will be possible to find the “pop” specialties of Italian gastronomy” with antipasti, dishes and desserts. Count between 11 and 17 euros on average for a pizza.
La Pecoranegra will be open Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Reservations can now be made on 04 26 28 34 57.
