3 rehabilitated sea turtles were released back into the sea today

Three sea turtles, which were drowned and delivered to Meritta Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center by Fisherman Levent Çiftçi about three months ago, were released back into the sea. Artist Haluk Levnet also attended the event because Fisherman Levent Çiftçi named the turtles he found Ressadem, Ada and Haluk Levent.

Fisherman Levent Çiftçi stated that his turtles were damaged due to sea pollution and nets and asked citizens to be sensitive.

In his speech at the event, artist Haluk Levent expressed his happiness in participating in the event and reminded that he participated in many studies for the protection of sea turtles in Turkey.

Stating that sea pollution threatens the lives of marine creatures, Haluk Levent wished everyone to be sensitive about this issue. Meritta Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center Director Signem Kara also gave information about the work of the Rehabilitation Center.
