3 reasons Mane left Liverpool, including Klopp’s comments

Jakarta

There are at least three reasons that make Sadio Mane no longer felt at home at Liverpool this summer until finally moving to Bayern Munich.

Liverpool’s 35 million pound transfer deal put an end to the speculation over the future of Sadio Mane for the past few weeks.

Previously, Sadio Mane had made it clear that he had no intention of continuing his career at Liverpool even though he still had one more year left on the contract.

Sadio Mane leaving after six seasons at Liverpool, which led to a number of titles including the Premier League and Champions League. And according to Trevor Sinclair, a former Premier League footballer, there were three reasons Mane left.

“First of all, I don’t think at the club he was as well appreciated as Virgil van Dijk or Mo Salah,” he told talkSPORT Breakfast.

“Secondly, the fact that Liverpool have one year left on his contract gives an indication of how they (the club) feel for him (Mane).”

“Thirdly, I think the main reason is Jürgen Klopp has ‘lost’ Mane after he denigrated the AFCON tournament until (Senegal) manager Aliou Cisse spoke up and defended AFCON saying ‘you guys only finished second before the players from our continent in Africa started playing for you’.”
