End of Valencia becoming the first player to score a brace at the 2022 World Cup. Captain Ecuador national team he did so in the opening match against Qatar on Sunday (20/11/2022).
Valencia’s two goals gave Ecuador a 2-0 victory over Qatar. El Tri also leads the Group A standings with 3 points.

Two players have surpassed Valencia as a brace at the 2022 World Cup. Both are Bukayo Saka from the England national team e Mahdi Taremi (Iran).
Saka and Taremi both scored twice as England clashed with Iran in their first Group B match on Tuesday (21/11) WIB evening. The Three Lions team won 6-2.
England’s other four goals were scored by Jude Bellingham, Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish. In total, five of Gareth Southgate’s players occupy the provisional top scorer list for the 2022 World Cup.
