Three North Sumatran police officers (Northern Sumatra) visited Bandung Hospital (RS) in the city of Medan. They came to apologize for the alleged abuse of (naked) health workers by some police officers.
Reported seconds North SumatraOn Monday (11/7/2022), Samapta Director of North Sumatran Police, Kombes Bambang Sigit Priyono, Propam Chief, North Sumatran Police, Kombes Joas F. Panjaitan and Medan Police Chief came. , Kombes Valentino Alfa Tatareda. They arrived this afternoon around 5pm WIB.
Then, Bandung General Hospital and police officers held an indoor meeting on the fourth floor. The meeting lasted about an hour. Subsequently, several police officers left the place. When asked by the media about the police officers, the Medan police chief declined to comment.
After the meeting, Bandung Hospital provided information. Through his legal assistant, Bobby Lim, Bandung Hospital said the official police visit was to apologize.
“We were previously visited by the Samapta Director of the North Sumatran Police and the Propam Chief of the North Sumatran Police. The police came to apologize for what happened in the hospital,” Bobby said.
Bobby said his party would still have asked for the case to be handled according to applicable law. “This is a lesson that the hospital is not a place where violence can be done,” he said.
