WhatsApp’s new features for Voice Note
1. Set the feature speed voice note
This feature allows users to set the speed at which voice messages are received from other people. There are three options playback speed (playback speed) that can be selected, namely normal speed (1.0x), 1.5x, and 2.0x.
When a message is received, by default, the VN will play at 1.0x speed. To speed up voicemail playback, here’s how:
- Open the app Whatsapp
- Open the chat that sent the voice message
- Click the “play” icon to play the voicemail
- Later, a “1x” icon will appear in the profile photo section
- Click the “1x” icon to increase the sound playback speed
- When the number icon is tapped once, the speed will change from normal (1.0x) to 1.5x. If you tap again, the number will change from 1.5x to 2.0x.
- After the sound recording finishes playing, the rules will return to the rules default.

This feature can also be used to adjust the VN speed when users review the contents of voice messages. The method is as follows:
- Open the WhatsApp application and select the contact you want to send a voice message to
- Click the icon voice record at the bottom right corner
- Record the sound you want to send by tap and hold (tap and hold)
- After the voice recording is sent, the user can click the “Play” icon or “Play”
- When the sound is playing, the contact photo of the sender or recipient will change to “1x”
- Click the “1x” icon to increase the sound playback speed
- When the number icon is tapped once, the speed will change from normal (1.0x) to 1.5x. If you tap again, the number will change from 1.5x to 2.0x.
- After the voice recording finishes playing, the rules will return to the default rules.

2. “Pause” (eats) voice note to be sent
WhatsApp now has a “pause” feature that can be used when the user is recording VN. That is, this feature allows users to choose pause or play (pause or play) the voice recording before sending.
This feature also allows users to check in advance whether the voice recording is appropriate or not. Here are the steps to pause the VN that will be sent.
- Open the Whatsapp application
- Select a contact you want to contact
- Record the sound you want to send by tap and hold (tap and hold)
- During the sound recording process, users will see a lock icon that moves like “locked and unlocked”
- talk (slide) lock icon up for recording directly handsfree (without holding down the button).

- When VN recording is locked, users can see there are “Play” and “Pause” icons. To pause recording, click the play icon (in the middle)
- To continue the recording process, click the same button
- After finishing recording, users can re-listen to the recording before sending it by clicking the play/play icon.play.

3. Twist voice note while chatting
This third feature allows users to still be able to listen to voice messages while chatting with other contacts.
This feature called “Global Voice Note Player” (global voice message player) allows users to exit the chat room without having to close the voice note.
So, users don’t have to bother having to stay in the same chat room, to listen to the recording until it’s finished. If the recording duration is long, the user can continue to listen while replying to other incoming messages.

- Open the Whatsapp application
- Open one of the voice messages sent by another user or contact
- Click “Play” or “Play” the voicemail
- Click the “back” button to exit the chat room
- Voicemail will keep playing automatically without stopping
- This feature will appear at the top of the screen on the main Whatsapp page, as shown above on the right. Meanwhile, for the version web or the desktop, a message player will appear at the bottom of the screen, as shown above on the left.
- The user can also select a number of navigations, such as the pause button (pause), sound play button (play), and a cross to close the voicemail.
