The security services of the Sohag Security Directorate managed to kidnap 5 people in one of the border ambushes between the governorates of Sohag and Assiut, and they possessed a large quantity suspected to be the narcotic hashish substance, amounting to around 80 kegs, before transferring to Assiut Governorate.
The security services of the Sohag Directorate of Security had managed to kidnap 3 students of the Faculty of Medicine and two students of the Faculty of Pharmacy as they attempted to transport and promote a quantity of cannabis while crossing a Salamoun ambush in the Tama Center district, a north of Sohag Governorate, a border ambush between Sohag and Assiut.
Upon examination, it emerged that the aforementioned were headed to the Governorate of Assiut, in possession of the seizures equal to 80 drugs found in the car in which they were travelling. the report of the incident is being drawn up in view of its presentation to the Public Prosecutor’s Office so that it can take over the investigation.
