3 good summer desserts that do good

Desserts are not necessarily to be demonized. Homemade, with well-chosen ingredients, they can even be used as natural remedies for soft spots, transit problems and even optimize weight loss. Three delicious recipes to keep in hand “just in case”!

• Fig balls with flax seeds: to reactivate transit

For 8 balls. 25min of preparation. 10min of cooking. 30min of rest. ½ day of refrigeration. 1 week of conservation

100 g of dried figs, 1 tbsp. chia seeds, 1 tbsp. 1 teaspoon ground flax seeds

Recipe

– Cut the figs into quarters, remove the stems, cook them for 10 minutes in a small saucepan of water. Drain and set aside, retaining the cooking water.

– Pour into a bowl 6 tbsp. tablespoons of the cooking water and add the chia and flax seeds.

– Once the figs have cooled (approx. 30min), mix them in the bowl containing the seeds and water until a sticky paste is obtained. Add a little cooking water if necessary.

– Form beads in the palms of slightly damp hands and place in the fridge for 12 hours before tasting.

The health bonus

Here, all the ingredients are facilitators of transit because they are rich in fiber: figs, in soft fibers whose effect is reinforced by those of chia and flax seeds which in contact with water form a softening and lubricating gel. Naturally effective on temporary constipation, these beads also provide minerals, vitamins, omega-3s and display a Average Glycemic Index so as not to heckle blood sugar. After consumption, always drink a large glass of water.

• Banana-avocado-coconut ice cream: to recharge the batteries

For 3 servings. 5min of preparation. 2 hours of freezing.

1 avocado, 2 bananas, ¼ lemon juice, 3 tbsp acacia honey, 2 to 3 tbsp coconut milk, small crunchy seeds (sesame, hemp, poppy) and grated coconut

Recipe

– Peel and cut avocado and bananas into pieces on a plate to place in the freezer for 2 hours.

– Mix the frozen fruits with the lemon juice, honey and coconut milk

– Divide into 3 cups, sprinkle the small seeds, grated coconut and serve immediately.

The health bonus

Very tasty, this recipe with exotic flavors immediately awakens the taste buds. And the banana like coconut milk, rich in minerals, especially magnesium make it a concentrate of energy. Just like the liquid acacia honey, natural sugar with antioxidant and anti-infectious properties. Avocado rich in anti-fatigue vitamin B9 and good cholesterol-lowering fats provides smoothness without raising blood sugar. As well as coconut milk which contains few carbohydrates but whose caloric content requires not to abuse it.

• Red fruit entremet with matcha tea: to find the line

For 3 servings. 20min of preparation. 2min of cooking. 2 hours of refrigeration. 2 days of refrigeration.

20 g of fresh or frozen red fruits, ½ tsp. coffee of matcha tea, 1 cup of hot water, ½ tsp. ̀ teaspoon of agar-agar powder, 3 tbsp. of agave syrup.

Recipe

– Divide the fruit between 3 ramekins and place the matcha tea in a large bowl.

– In a saucepan, dilute the agar-agar in water, add the agave syrup and place over medium heat. At the first small broths, count 1 minute then pour the hot liquid over the matcha tea and whisk for a few moments.

– Pour everything over the fruit, let cool and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours so that the jelly sets well. Eat as it is or turn out onto a plate and surround with red fruits for a “restaurant-like” effect.

The health bonus

A real treat to keep the figure and even optimize a slimming diet: no frustration, only happiness! In addition to its richness in antioxidants, matcha green tea (Japanese) has a draining effect and a bewitching fragrance. As for theagar-agar, this gelling agent with a neutral taste extracted from a small red algae, it has the particularity of swelling in the stomach for a natural appetite suppressant effect, and of facilitating the elimination of sugars and fats. And although endowed with a strong sweetening power, the sirop d’agave only displays an average Glycemic Index.
