Accident investigation cyclist hit by Mercy at the HI Roundabout, Central Jakarta, continues. Investigators at the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya have even conducted a crime scene case (TKP) related to the accident.
The TKP exercise was held at the location of the incident in the HI Roundabout area, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (17/3/2021) morning, without presenting the MDA suspect (19). This crime scene work is done by involving tim traffic accident analyst (TAA).
Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo revealed that the TKP event was deliberately held at 06.00 WIB, to adjust to the time when the traffic accident occurred.
“First, because the time at the TKP is at 06.00 WIB. Second, because at 06.00 WIB hopefully it will not be too crowded so it does not interfere with traffic flow,” said Sambodo at the HI Roundabout, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (17/3/2021).
For the purposes of the TKP processing, the police were forced to close and divert the flow of traffic from Jalan MH Thamrin to Sudirman. Vehicles from the direction of Thamrin turned left on Jalan Imam Bonjol.
Sambodo said, with the TKP processing from the TAA team, it is hoped that it can make light of the events before, shortly and after the incident. He added, if the crime scene by involving the TAA team this is the third time.
“We will conduct the third TKP today using TAA, with the hope that the results of this TAA will add to the completeness of the files and increase the confidence of the judges during the court session,” said Sambodo.
