PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) plans to acquire some shares RANS Entertainment. The corporate action was carried out through one of its business entities, PT Indonesia Entertainment Group.
Here are three facts that EMTK wants to annex Raffi Ahmad’s company shares:
1. Reasons for annexing RANS Entertainment’s shares
According to EMTK’s explanation, PT Indonesia Entertainment Group is majority owned by PT Surya Citra Media Tbk, which is a subsidiary of the company. Management assesses the potential for long-term collaboration in the content, events and entertainment business.

2. Transaction Value IDR 248 M
Later on, PT Indonesia Entertainment Group will make a capital deposit for the issuance of new shares in RANS Entertainment in the amount of Rp 248 billion in stages. Thus, PT Indonesia Entertainment Group will own 17% of RANS Entertainment’s shares.
3. Synergy
EMTK hopes that the company’s group business can get the impact of business synergy, where the company’s group clients or advertisers get one-stop-service from the group ecosystem that is being developed.
“In addition, the company group also expects market share growth that can contribute to the company’s profitability growth on a consolidated basis,” said management.
