Top tennis player who also won Wimbledon 2013 and 2014 French Open, Peng Shuai said former Chinese vice premier Zhang Gaoli had forced him to have sex. Zhang is on the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party, the country’s highest governing body and served as deputy prime minister in Xi Jinping’s 2012-2017 government.
How about the facts:
Since 10 Years Ago
This was revealed from his Weibo upload, a Chinese social media similar to Twitter. Quotes CNN International, an open letter given by Peng Shuai to Zhang in the upload.
He said he was first forced to have sex 10 years ago, when Zhang was still the boss of the Communist Party of Tianjin, a city southeast of Beijing. After that their contact was cut off.
But three years ago, Zhang contacted him again with his wife. The same thing happened when he was pressured to have sex.
“Why did you… take me to your house to force me to have sex with you?” write the account with the blue tick, quoted Saturday (6/11/2021).
“Yeah, I have no proof, and it’s impossible to have proof… (But) I can’t describe how disgusted I am, and how many times have I asked myself am I still human? I feel like a walking corpse. Every day I act , who am I really?”
He later said life suffered with the relationship. According to him, there is too much injustice and humiliation even though the love relationship is finally established even without marriage.
