Deadly accident occurred in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. The accident involved a woman motorcyclist with TransJakarta buses.
The accident occurred on Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Monday (13/3) at around 07.00 WIB this morning. The motorcyclist, a woman with the initials DPS (21) was reported to have died at the scene as a result of the accident.
Following are the facts of the motorbike vs TransJakarta fatal accident which are summarized detikcom as follows.
1) Motorists change lanes and enter Busway
Head of Traffic Unit for Central Jakarta Region, Kompol Purwanta, revealed the details of the accident. It starts when the motorbike changes lanes to the right and enter busway.
“Less cautiously move the column to the right to enter the lane busway and from behind came TransJakarta bus vehicles,” said Purwanta in his statement, Monday (13/3/2023).
2) The motorbike was hit by TransJ to death
Victims then hit by TransJakarta driven by a man with the initials SR (43). This accident resulted in the death of the victim at the scene.
“Suffered a broken leg wound and died at the TKP and was taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital and a post mortem was requested,” he added.
The motorcycle involved in the accident was damaged.
