Diabetes is caused by blood sugar levels being too high. About 90% of all cases diabetes caused by type 2 diabetes, in which the hormone insulin doesn’t work properly or the pancreas isn’t able to make enough of it.
However, regular exercise can help stabilize blood sugar levels. Staying active is especially important for diabetic patients, as it helps the body use carbohydrates more efficiently.
Reporting from Express, Wednesday (23/6) if you have diabetes, you must combine three different types of exercise.
Cardiovascular activity, strength training, and stretching should all be part of the routine. Be sure to combine all three, rather than spending more time on just one sport.

Focusing on strength training alone, for example, increases your risk of injury, which will only hinder your exercise routine in the long run.
“Exercise helps stabilize your blood sugar levels. It helps promote how insulin works on your blood sugar levels, but it also works by harnessing your energy stores,” says Dr. Sara.
“It’s important to make sure all of these work holistically, rather than just focusing on one, because you may end up with an injury if you focus on just one area, and that will get you back in terms of your sport.”
Everyone should try to get 150 minutes of exercise every week, but it doesn’t have to be jogging. You can incorporate exercise into your daily lifestyle without even realizing it.
Anything that gets your heart rate up and makes you move can count towards a 150 minute goal. That could include a brisk walk, going to the gym, or simply gardening.
