“Bad cholesterol or LDL transports other cholesterol to the arteries where it may build up on the artery walls, causing the arteries to become stiff and narrow,” says Save.
Excess LDL cholesterol in the bloodstream can increase the risk of coronary heart disease and stroke. Therefore it is very important to avoid the accumulation of bad cholesterol to prevent the risks of chronic disease that may be carried by this cholesterol.
Naturally, cholesterol can actually be regulated through diet. Several ways can be done to prevent the buildup of cholesterol in the blood.
