3 Differences Between Singapore Flu and Chicken Pox

Singapore flu symptoms appear about 3-6 days after infection with the virus. The initial symptoms are fever like severe flu symptoms and sore throat, then about 1-2 days will appear thrush in the mouth, red rash, and skin blisters, usually occur on the soles of the feet, knees, elbows, genital area, and buttocks. Other symptoms include coughing, abdominal pain, and fussiness if they occur in children. Usually a small red rash appears on the back of the mouth that blisters and hurts, children will react not want to eat and drink, and salivate more than usual.
