‘3 Caminos’, the new series with scenes shot in Burgos

Amazon Prime Video has presented its new international television project: the series ‘3 Caminos’, which tells the story of five friends of different nationalities united by the Camino de Santiago. A production that has scenes shot in León, Burgos and Palencia and is sponsored by the Junta de Castilla y León.

The province of Burgos has once again been the scene of the filming of the new Amazon Prime Video production. ‘3 Caminos’ is the new international television project of the streaming platform that opens this Friday, January 22. A total of 8 chapters of a series that revolves around the Camino de Santiago as it passes through the communities of Navarra, La Rioja, Castilla y León and Galicia.

In the case of Castilla y León, the filming and locations are in the provinces of León, Burgos and Palencia. The series has been recorded in the towns of Belorado, Burgos, Santa Colomba de Somoza, Carrión de los Condes, Frómista, León, Ponferrada or Astorga, among others.

‘3 Caminos’, directed by Norberto López Amado and Iñaki Mercero, and starring Alex Gonzalez or Verónica Echegui or Cecilia Suárez, among others, also has the sponsorship of the Junta de Castilla y León. In addition, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has wanted take this opportunity to also promote the Jacobean, around the heritage that surrounds the Camino de Santiago. Synopsis

‘3 Caminos’ is a comedy-tinged drama that explores the relationship between five friends of five different nationalities at three specific moments in their lives. The passage of time is dismantling their dreams, weaving and unweaving couples and friendships and transforming the personalities of the five. 2000, 2006 and 2021, three roads, three stages of life, many problems, tensions and conflicts of the ordinary world that are played on the spiritual and material board of El Camino de Santiago.

El Camino acts as a catalyst and an excuse to bring them together in each of the times in which the viewer looks into their lives. They are accompanied by stories full of emotions, friendships, courage, but also disappointments, fear and forgiveness, along with reflections on existence, addressing issues as complex as the passage of time, the end of love when it wears out and dreams die, and the fear of getting old.
