According to a recent study by the specialized firm NewZoo (relayed by Venture Beat), the number of players in the world could reach three billion by 2023. These colossal figures suggest that, by then, 39% of the world’s population will play video games. This is hardly surprising when we know that 2.69 billion people are playing in 2020. Among the preferred tools of players, we find the smartphone in first position with 2.5 billion players. Regardless of PC players and consoles, mobile gaming is obviously popular.
