NEW YORK – At least two firefighters have been injured while battling a fire in Brooklyn.
The incident was reported around 11:39 am Wednesday at a commercial building located at 7902 16th Ave., according to the FDNY Fire Department.
The incident would have been unleashed on the first floor of the mixed building in the Bensonhurst section.
The incident reached three alarms at around 1 pm
The injured firefighters sustained minor injuries and are expected to recover.
The cause was not immediately known and is under investigation.
