3 Advantages of Mediatek Dimensity 1100 in POCO X3 GT

JAKARTA – Mediatek Dimensity 1100 is indeed on the rise. If the MediaTek Dimensity 700 is popular as an affordable 5G chip with high performance, then the Dimensity 1100 is a 5G chip in mid-range phones that performs on par with flagship phones.

The system-on-chip (SoC/chipset) Dimensity 1100 is indeed the first to be adopted by the POCO X3 GT which was just released on Thursday, August 19, 2021 ago.

Deputy Director Corporate Sales of Southeast Asia MediaTek Cedric Chang said, Dimensity 1100 is supported by a high-performance CPU and GPU architecture. “It is also designed with the best fabrication technology to provide superior performance with better power efficiency,” he said in a Zoom meeting with the media recently.

POCO Indonesia’s Head of Marketing Andi Renreng said that the Dimensity 1100 could bring the performance of the flagship chipset in the POCO X3 GT. “POCO always tries to embed premium class chipsets in our products,” said Andi. Well, here are some of the advantages of Dimensity 1100:

1. 6 nm . fabrication

The Dimensity 1100 uses 6nm fabrication technology. As a result, higher performance efficiency results in better performance, power efficiency and connectivity.

The chipset is designed with an eight-core Central Processing Unit (CPU) which includes four Arm Cortex-A78 cores operating up to 2.6GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.

This CPU architecture is combined with a nine-core Arm Mali-G77 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) operating at 836 MHz to display high-fidelity graphics.
