FC St. Schalke 04 Pauli
Darmstadt 98 is safe in the relegation place…
… with a win in Düsseldorf and a draw/loss for HSV against Hannover and a draw/loss for St. Pauli against Schalke.
… with a draw in Düsseldorf and a simultaneous defeat of HSV against Hannover and a defeat of St. Pauli at Schalke.
Darmstadt’s scenarios: A safe rise is not possible on the 33rd match day, only a maximum of three points ahead of Bremen, HSV and St. Pauli – then it would depend on the goal difference. There, Darmstadt currently has a difference of plus 23, Bremen of 17, HSV of 30 and St. Pauli of 14.
Specifically, if Darmstadt wins and Bremen loses, the difference would be at least three points and eight goals. And it would take a Werder miracle in a week.
On the 34th day of play, Darmstadt welcomes Paderborn, who are strong away from home.
Werder Bremen is safe in the relegation place…
… with a win in Aue and a draw/defeat by HSV against Hannover and a draw/defeat by St. Pauli against Schalke.
… with a draw in Aue and a simultaneous defeat of HSV against Hannover and a defeat of St. Pauli at Schalke.
Bremen’s scenarios: The same applies to Werder as to Darmstadt: The sparkling wine must remain sealed for at least a week. A defeat in Aue with a simultaneous victory in Darmstadt would almost certainly mean that Bremen would not make it straight back into the Bundesliga due to the goal difference (see above). The last hope would then be the relegation place.
On the 34th day of play, Bremen will play Regensburg at home.
Hamburg jumps to a promotion place…
…in a win against Hanover and a defeat by Darmstadt in Düsseldorf, as well as a defeat by Bremen in Aue
–
Hamburg’s scenarios: The HSV is dependent on the support of other clubs. Since the Hanseatic League have the best goal difference of the top clubs (see above), a defeat by Darmstadt or Bremen would be enough to at least jump to the relegation rank if they win before the 34th matchday. However, if Hamburg lose and both Bremen and Darmstadt score points, they are already out of the promotion race before the last matchday.
HSV plays at Hansa Rostock on matchday 34.
St. Pauli jumps to a promotion place…
… with a victory at Schalke and a defeat by Darmstadt in Düsseldorf, as well as a defeat by Bremen in Aue. Hamburg is also not allowed to win at home against Hannover.
St. Pauli scenarios: The starting position of the Pauli pros is even worse than that of HSV, as they have a significantly worse goal difference (see above). Hamburg can only jump to a relegation rank if Darmstadt or Bremen lose their games and the neighboring city HSV does not win their home game. However, should Pauli lose and Bremen and Darmstadt score points, the topic of promotion is already settled before the last matchday.
On Matchday 34, St. Pauli will play Fortuna Düsseldorf at home.
