SV Lafnitz celebrate a 5-1 home win over SK Sturm Graz II in the 16th round of the Admiral 2nd League on Friday night.
After a long and quiet first half hour, Jurica Poldrugac gave the hosts the lead: Lafnitzer scored against goalkeeper Maric (31 ‘) on a nice cross from Damiel Gremsl.
The second goal was scored before half-time and it was Poldrugac again. On a free kick from about 20 meters, the Croatian slams the ball under the crossbar in a remarkable way (45 ‘).
Double hit after half-time
A double goal after half-time made the final decision: first, Poldrugac scored his third goal of the evening with a beautiful long-range shot from the far corner (49 ‘), shortly after Stefan Golles also scored a beautiful shot from the distance (51 ‘).
Eight minutes later, Golles returns to the center of attention: Lafnitz’s defender acts too lax, let Moritz Wels steal the ball and score 4-1 from the visitors’ point of view.
But Golles can try again in attack: after a free kick, he hits the five for 5-1 (70th). In the end, Sturm player Noah Oke Eyawo also sees the yellow and red card after a foul (87th).
Lafnitz moved up to eighth place in the standings (23). Sturm II remains for the moment in eleventh place (18).
