‘INTI CREATES’ cooperated with Daewon Media to officially translate the download version of the 2D side-scrolling action game 『Grim Guardians: Demon Purge (hereinafter referred to as Grim Guardians)』 into multi-platform on February 23rd. On the other hand, it was announced that it would be released, and on March 23, it was announced that it would release a packaged version for Nintendo Switch™.
‘Grim Guardians’ is a 2D side-scrolling action game in which two high school girls who work as “Devil Hunters” fight to restore the school that has turned into a devil’s castle. Players alternately use two characters with different abilities to go deep into the stage where the boss demon is waiting. When you defeat the boss demon, you can acquire a new weapon, and in the following stages, you can enjoy more diverse strategies and new route exploration elements.
Players alternate between the older sister “Kamizono Shinobu” who is good at long-range attacks and the younger sister “Kamizono Maya” who are good at melee attacks at the right timing. This system has the advantage of being able to revive with “Sister Rescue” by running to the side of a fallen sister even if one of them runs out of power during play. In addition, simultaneous play by two people is also supported, so you can enjoy a linked action by manipulating two characters at the same time with a friend through mid-participation anytime, anywhere during the game.
This game is a spin-off game featuring the main character of the unique shooting game ‘Girl☆Gun Double Peace’. The main characters of the previous ‘Girl☆Gun’ series appear beyond the level of work, and the luxurious Japanese voice actors who played them also performed passionately in this game, and players who have played previous works can feel welcome.
The download version of this game was released on February 23rd on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam (PC), and the package version is available on Nintendo Switch™ in March. It will be released as a regular and limited edition on the 23rd (Thu), and reservations will be held from February 28th (Tue). The limited edition includes a full-color setting data book of ‘Grim Guardians’, a sound track CD, and an acrylic key holder for “Sister Change”, and an A4 clear file is provided as a reservation privilege for the package version.
