Britain today announced 29,173 new coronavirus infections. That number is less than the 31,795 cases reported yesterday, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
According to official figures, the death toll has dropped to 28 from 86 the day before.
The UK has seen a decline in the number of new infections over the past five days, but authorities are wary of whether this is a trend.
