However, the woman became agitated and attacked one of the sergeants, and the sergeant and two police officers pinned her to the ground. After investigation, it was suspected that the woman was suffering from mental illness and she was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin by ambulance for treatment. She was also arrested on suspicion of robbery. The mother who was beaten was not seriously injured and refused to be taken to the hospital.
