One of the country’s best gunners, Dmitry Milyutin, nicknamed “Taxi Driver”, was killed in the Russian strike with an “Iskander-M” missile against fighters of the 128th Separate Landing Brigade in Zaporozhye.
Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Kucherenko has already announced that 28 people died in the attack and another 53 were injured.
Another Ukrainian MP, Maryana Bezugla, released information that servicemen were gathered in formation to present awards on the occasion of Artillery Day in the front zone, which is absolutely prohibited.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has already confirmed the case on its Facebook page, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has ordered an investigation. On social networks, Ukrainians reacted with outrage, calling what happened “incompetence” and “irresponsibility”.
