Trondheim Municipality states in a press release that all 28 who have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease in the last 24 hours have a mild course of the disease.
20 of them have known close contacts, infection detection is ongoing for six of the infected and for two the source of infection has not yet been found.
Among those who have been diagnosed with the virus, no one is over 60 years old, according to Trondheim municipality.
During the day, 1,695 corona tests were performed in the municipality.
On Thursday, 24 corona cases were registered in Trondheim, which in recent weeks have had very little infection. Now it seems to be turning around.
Trondheim municipality reminds in the press release on Friday of the national infection control councils.
– We emphasize that there is a strong recommendation to limit the number of social contacts you have during a week to a maximum of ten people. People in the risk group should be extra careful, and try to keep at least two meters away from people they do not live with.
On Thursday, the municipality also recommended that the population wear face masks in public spaces – both indoors and in densely populated areas outdoors.
