28 million euros to improve the working and living conditions of police officers

The government will release several million euros intended for real estate work in favor of the police, announced the prefecture.

On its website, the Prefecture of the Rhône announced on Tuesday that the government would devote 28,220,000 euros “to the realization of renovation and modernization projects of the National Police buildings in the Rhône”.

A contribution that falls within the framework of the France Relance plan intended to improve “working and living conditions” law enforcement.

Nine communes of the Rhône have already benefited from the necessary funding to carry out this project: those of Bron, Caluire-et-Cuire, Écully, Givors, Lyon, Saint-Fons, Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon and Vaulx -en-Velin.

This money will be invested in “the construction of new buildings, the improvement of thermal insulation, the installation of efficient heating or the renovation of joinery “, it is specified.
