2759 new cases of COVID-19, 12.31% of those tested, 99 died





2759 people have been newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 24 hours – 2035 more cases than yesterday. This is shown by the data in the National Information System.
This is 12.31% of those tested. A total of 22,417 tests were performed. 4168 of them were PCR and 18,249 were antigenic.

1,091,279 are the total number of cases of coronavirus confirmed in Bulgaria at the moment. The active ones are 215,521. 840,177 are the cured persons. In the last 24 hours 5833 registered.
The death toll in which coronavirus infection was confirmed was 35,581, with 99 losing their lives in the last 24 hours. 86.87% of those who died during the day were not vaccinated.
3918 are hospitalized. 467 are newcomers to the hospital. There are 473 people in the intensive care unit.
