Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo took the oath to 27 athletes who were appointed as PNS. All of them are outstanding athletes from various sports.

All the athletes were read out their oaths of appointment as civil servants. But before that, everyone was asked if they were ready to take the oath. All the athletes answered that they were ready to be sworn in.

“I will ask if you are willing to take an oath according to your respective religion?” asked Dito.
“Yes,” answered the athletes in unison.
After that, Dito read the oath to the athletes. Everyone followed the oath that was read by Dito.
Dito explained, a total of 27 athletes were appointed as civil servants. All of these athletes come from several sports.
“27 outstanding sportsmen took the oath of civil servants from sports 1 gymnastics, 1 weightlifting, 2 tennis, 3 wushu and 20 badminton,” said Dito in his speech.
Dito also congratulated the athletes who had been appointed civil servants. He also asked the athletes to continue to develop their potential in sports, even though they had become civil servants.
“After becoming civil servants, you can still develop your potential in sports as usual as an athlete,” he said.
