As part of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union, a meeting of European labor ministers will be held in Bordeaux in mid-February
A meeting of European ministers responsible for labor, employment and social affairs will be held next February in Bordeaux. The mayor of the city, Pierre Hurmic, slipped the information during a press conference, this Wednesday morning, dedicated to the next Bordeaux Wine Week, indicating that this spotlight would be an opportunity to “support viticulture” .
This visit by representatives of European governments is part of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union, active from 1is January to June 30, 2022. The informal ministerial meeting bringing together 27 ministers is scheduled for February 14 to 15, 2022. According to the site “EU France 22”, it “will aim to discuss the themes of the Presidency’s work, and in particular the impact of climate and digital transitions on the labor market”.
