The 26th International Festival of Sacred Music will be opened by the energetic and powerful Latvian choirmaster Krista Audere together with the State Academic Choir “Latvija”.
The program includes music rarely performed in Latvia by the American composer David Lang from his cycle The Writings and the opus Miserere Mei by the Slovenian composer Nana Forte (Latvian premiere) as well as works by the Latvian composers Maija Einfelde and Andris Dzenītis.
