Last night, 267 kilos of fireworks were found in a house in a residential area in Baarn. Most of it is legal consumer fireworks, but it was down according to the police stored “amateurish and risky”. The resident also had 21 prohibited cobras in the house and was arrested.
Officers raided the terraced house on Kastanjelaan last night around 10 p.m. following a tip. The fireworks were confiscated and removed by a specialized company. That lasted until at least 2:45 a.m. last night, reports said RTV Utrecht.
A household may store a maximum of 25 kilos of fireworks. The resident was arrested on suspicion of possessing and dealing in (illegal) fireworks.
