2612 people infected in Tokyo, 13 deaths including one woman in her 30s: Tokyo Shimbun TOKYO Web

The Tokyo metropolitan government announced on the 8th that it confirmed 2,612 new coronavirus infections and 13 deaths, including a woman in her 30s. Bed occupancy rate is 35.5%.

The average number of new infections per week was 2652.9 as of the 8th, 66.3% compared to the previous week. The total number of patients in Tokyo is 4,290,391.

By age group, 16 aged 0, 119 aged 1-4, 162 aged 5-9, 239 in their teens, 412 in their 20s, 423 in their 30s, 407 in their 40s, 341 in their 50s, 60-64 123 aged, 72 aged 65-69, 154 in their 70s, 113 in their 80s, 31 aged 90 and over. There were 370 elderly people aged 65 and over.

The deceased were a woman in her 30s and a man and woman in their 70s and 90s.
